Jim Ayotte, CAE

Jim Ayotte, Executive Director, CAE

Jim has been the Executive Director of the Florida Manufactured Housing Association (FMHA) since 2007. He has spent most of his association management career working for industry associations, including the Manufactured Housing Institute, the industry's national association and the Ohio and New England Manufactured Housing Associations. Prior to coming to the FMHA Jim was President of the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association, a trade group representing building material suppliers in New York and the six New England states. Jim received a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. degree from Babson College. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Florida Society of Association Executives. He is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the American Society of Association Executive. Mr. Ayotte resides in Tallahassee, FL with his wife and two teenage daughters.

Beth Loftus

Beth Loftus, Director of Administration

Beth Loftus joined the FMHA way back in 1982 when it was called the Florida Mobile Home Association. Executive Director at the time, Frank Williams, hired Beth fresh out of Florida State University where she received a B.S. in Criminology. At the time she thought it would be a temporary stepping stone in her career path. After 30+ years, it most likely is her only career path! She began as the Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Director of Member Services. Currently, Beth is the Director of Administration and assists Executive Director Jim Ayotte with the management of the FMHA and can assist members with just about any question. If she doesn't know the answer, she knows where to find it. Beth enjoys many, many things but most especially spending time with her three sons, wonderful daughter-in-law and friends.

Elisabeth Oberman

Elisabeth Oberman, Director of Marketing and Communications

Elisabeth joined FMHA as Director of Marketing and Communications in April of 2017. Coming most recently from another Tallahassee association, her career has varied widely and was peppered with several breaks to concentrate on raising her 3 sons. She has a degree in Communications from Washington State University, and has lived all over the United States and in Southeast Asia as the daughter of an Air Force Colonel. She enjoys cooking, decorating and hiking, especially in all the beautiful parks Tallahassee has to offer.

Susan Busbee

Susan Busbee, Administrative Assistant

Susan Busbee has been FMHA's Administrative Assistant since 2002. Nine times out of ten she will be the voice you hear when you call the Tallahassee office. She is responsible for maintaining the membership database and making sure new members receive their welcome packets. Susan helps prepare board and chapter meeting materials along with Annual Convention preparation. She also handles all membership billing and invoicing. Susan makes sure the office runs smoothly and we don't run out of office supplies. She enjoys reading, riding horses, going to the beach, boating, fishing, hunting and spending quality time with her husband, Kevin and son, Austin.
